Flag Football 2025 - Fall 2025

Welcome to Mavericks Flag Football Fall 2025! We are so excited to get back on the football field! Registration begins April 1.

Mandatory Evaluations will be held on August 2nd at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School,

Tentative times: 1/2 division: 9-11, 3rd/4th division: 11-1, 5th/6th: 1-3, 7th/8th: 3-4.

Please note, if this is your first season playing with Mavericks Flag Football, you will need a copy of your child's birth certificate to complete the registration process as you will be required to upload it for birthdate validation. Once you upload your birth certificate to this site, you will not be required to upload your child's birth certificate for any future registrations. If you are a returning player, you will not need to upload your birth certificate.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where are practices held?: All practices for all divisions will be at Ridgecrest Intermediate School - 28915 Northbay Rd, Rancho Palos Verdes or another PV field. Coaches determine individual team practice times.

When do practices begin?: Practices will begin on or around August 11, 2025.

How often are practices?: Practices are 2-3 days per week and generally last 1.5 to 2 hours (coach discretion).

When are games played?: Games are typically held on Saturdays beginning September 8 through November 8, 2025. Each team will play one game per week unless it is a bye week.

What time are games on Saturdays?: Game times are normally scheduled from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Note: Most teams arrive at least one hour prior to game start to warm up.

Will my child need to "try out" to play?: All players MUST be evaluated for the draft on August 2nd, 20205. The Player Draft occurs during the week after the makeup evaluation date.

Can my child play with his/her friends?: There are no guarantees for kids to play on the same team or w/ a specific coach. To have the best chance of creating a team w/ kids from a specific school/group you should sign up to be a head coach.

Do I need to upload a birth certificate?: You will need to upload a birth certificate for a new player. Returning players need not upload their birth certificate.

Do I have to turn in a physical form?: Players will NOT need a physician-signed medical release form to play. Please make sure you note any medical conditions or medications during the registration process.
